I know, I know

Again, I am lacking in the posting area. I have been trying not to be on the computer so much but I need to get some pictures on here. The kids and I have been spending some time outside- finally without snow! Yesterday a bear was spotted VERY close to our house so we have to make sure the kids are right by us constantly- Si didn't like that at all last night so today we are going to bake some cookies and avoid being outside as long as possible. I will try and get some pictures on here this week! Just 'bear' with me!! haha!

Egg Hunt

We hope that you all had a great Easter! We had a fun and busy one! The kids were able to have two egg hunts- one at Grandma Lisa's and another at Aunt Jackie's. So we got a TON of candy. The Easter Bunny brought them each a basket full of goodies at our house, but just hid eggs at other people's houses. I've already heard the complaint from Silas- so that will have to change next year I'm sure. Here are some pictures from their hunt at Grandma Lisa's house. It was kind of a wet one but the kids had a blast!

Easter FunDay

The Friday before Easter, the kids and I just had a fun day together at home. We colored eggs, baked sugar cookies, decorated our colored eggs, played our V-Smile, and just had fun learning and celebrating things about Easter. It was a lot of fun! The kids loved coloring the eggs. Both of them got to do it ALL by themselves- Brooke thought that was way too cool! They loved cutting the sugar cookie shapes by themselves and eating them afterwards. Silas even said later that day- "I loved the day today, mom. It was fun!" I really enjoyed the fact the I didn't care what my house looked like, I just took the time and had some fun with my growing kids. Hope you enjoy the highlights of our day!
P.S. The last picture is of the kids Easter Sunday morning. They are into making silly faces when I am trying to get a nice picture of them- honestly this one was the best one.

Soccer player

Silas has started playing indoor soccer with the Boys and Girls Club. He has had two games now and seems to really enjoy it. He has made 2 goals each game- the first game one was in the other teams goal but he was sure proud of himself! Here are a few pictures of him before and during his first practice. Sorry some of the pictures are a little dark.

Another Fun Day

The kids were invited to another birthday party at River City Cheer. It is always a fun place to go! They get to just run around and do whatever they want. Brooklyn really liked the big trampoline. Thankfully, not many other kids were wanting to jump- she didn't like the fact that she had to let others have a turn. Silas loved the foam pit and the bounce house. It was just another fun winter day that got us out of the house.

Just wanted to send a congratulations out to our dear friends- The Wolverton Family!! They welcomed baby girl number 3 yesterday- Sable Brooke! She sure is a cutie! We wish you all the best with your new addition!

I just wanted to send out a birthday wish to my dearest hubby!! HAPPY 26th BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! You are such a great husband and daddy. I could have never found any man greater than you! You are a awesome provider for our family and you make sacrifices for us that I could never repay you for!! You mean the world to our kids and to me!
