WAITING FOR SUMMER

Not a lot has been going on in our lives lately. We are just waiting patiently for nice weather. The first part of last week was so nice- in the 50's. Then I believe Thursday we woke up to 3 inches of SNOW- yes I said snow. What a tease our weather has been. But finally yesterday and today are back to somewhat nice (the breeze is kind of chilly). So we are seeing a light at the end of the winter tunnel. Summer is sneaking up on us slowly but surely. The kids and I actually played outside yesterday for about 2 hours. Silas is learning that he has to stay in the fence- we are having trouble with bears around lately. Silas made Sam jog behind him yesterday evening while he drove his motorcycle down to the cluster mailbox. He thought is was funny to see Daddy trying to "be fast". Well I just thought I would add a post since I hadn't for awhile. Hopefully I can get my butt in gear and post some pictures soon.

Oh man... I'm already sooo done with summer. It's getting way too hot too fast here in Arizona. Isn't it crazy how different weather can be on the same exact day but in different parts of the world. You may have been wishing you were here during your long winter but I'm sure wishing I could be up there during our long summer! Your kids are adorable by the way!

I'm with ya on "summer needs to be here NOW". If we don't get to spend some major time outside this summer, I might go crazy! Our lawn (newly planted last fall, so very fragile) finally dried out enough for the kids to play on it! Yesterday they played outside while I cleaned the laundry room! Now if it would only get warm enough for me to sit on the deck and get some sun...

That would be so hard to have it snow. I have been having spring fever since Feb. Jarod and I were talking about you guys last night and wondering how it was there. I've always wanted to go to Alaska but have yet to go. Any way I hope you guys are doing good.
